The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is the leading charitable funder and advocate for research on Type 1 or Juvenile diabetes and its complications in the world. Founded in 1974 by parents of diabetics - their mission is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.


JDRF's strategy is to accelerate the pace of science to cure diabetes and its complications by moving research from discovery to the development and delivery of cure therapeutics. Their proactive strategy is focused on identifying promising therapeutics, finding the best researchers, and requiring specific deadlines and standards.
